hi! um, bear with it for a moment, its not very good at talking w/ people, but it wanted to say smth here bc this is really cool! Theres probably a better way to put this but w/o getting too much into things suffice to say this has all been very interesting to read and see and stuff! Anyways, that all being said it does have an actual question it's not just here to say how cool this all is. Basically, yall seem to be a fan of animals (which so is this one they're great 10/10 no notes) so it was wondering, do you have a favorite animal or favorite variety of animal? And if you do then what makes you like that animal in particular?
Sincerely,
doll

❤️ Hi Doll!
Thank you very very dearly for the ask, and for all the kind words <3 we have poured our hearts into it. Obviously, kehehe
Hm... We really ought to post more animal photos huh? I suppose we'll all answer differently. So we'll start with mine.
❤️ Birds. Easily. In Australia we have a wide range of species. Each with their own mannerisms, behaviours and calls. Seeing how they interact with each other and live their every day lives is always so fascinating!
Birds obviously lack the facial features we use to express emotion, but they can have crests, chirps, pupil dilation and complex body language. It is always so inspiring to learn how they communicate, it makes me feel so small - In a good way! There's colonies, communities, cultures among our avian friends. Right in front of us! Yet we all take it for granted... Perhaps I'll make a post about them some time. My favorite bird at the moment is the australian butcher bird, for their silly close-range barking call. Ruff!
🩷 The Rodent and Marsupial families. Difficult to pick a favorite. They are survivors, Its inspiring!
I quite like the Chinchilla for how unique it is, but my heart belongs to common rats I believe. The local possums are adorable and strange, but more in a pitiful way. I do wish I could hold them, they must be quite large and soft. Do they know how much we want to help them? Its a shame, they often run along power lines and get electrocuted when they cross 2 lines incorrectly. Usually touching 2 lines at an intersection or a turn. Perhaps there could be better designs in place to protect them.
